Fred Arshoff is a senior partner in the assurance and advisory practice at Lipton LLP. After moving from a national accounting firm in Montreal, he joined the firm in 1983 as a manager.
Fred specializes in corporate finance, income tax planning, estates and business advisory. He advises in a variety of owner-managed companies, ranging from professional services, manufacturing, distribution, wholesaling and real estate. Fred also has significant experience raising small business financing and general business consulting. Fred takes an active role in advising management on key strategic decisions and assisting them where necessary, through implementation.
Fred received his Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Accounting from Concordia in 1979 and received his CA designation in 1981. He is a designated Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). Fred is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Practice Inspection Committee, a group dedicated to ensuring that all members engaged in the practice of public accounting are adhering to the professional standards in the accounting industry.
In addition to his other responsibilities, Fred is the human capital partner for the firm.
